The Force of Righteousness

April 13: You are a Ruler

Psalms 82:1-2, 6

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High

Jeremiah 1:6

Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

.

Our opening Scripture speaks to children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. The Word calls you mighty, not poor, not weak, not beggarly. The Word calls you prosperous, splendid, influential and powerful. It says God stands in the congregation of the mighty, and He judges among the gods. He calls the mighty gods, and He calls you the mighty, a god. Who are gods? They are judges and rulers over the earth. This Scripture speaks of you – the mighty, a god.  God made man to rule over the earth in dominion. Genesis 1:26 reveals the dominion mandate given to man by God. God made man to exercise dominion over all the earth in righteousness and mercy, for the scepter of God’s kingdom is righteousness. Therefore, man is to take reference from God’s style and way of rulership, which is righteousness and love. From our opening verse, the Lord is asking the rulers, the gods over the earth, “How long will you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?”. He was asking the gods how long they would condone unrighteousness. This was contrary to God’s expectation of rulers or judges over the earth. Going by God’s dominion mandate, you are a judge, a ruler over the earth, and righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom.

You must take your place as a judge, a ruler, for order and decency to be restored to the earth. You must understand that righteousness is faith in the Word of God. Genesis 15:6 tells us that Abraham believed in the Lord, and He counted it unto him for righteousness. Absolute conviction that God’s Word is true and worth living by, is all the rule the ruler or judge needs to rule. That’s the rule of the ruler. Judging unjustly is judging contrary to the Word of God, which is lack of faith in the Word, and that is unrighteousness. Beloved, seedfulness for dominion is the God nature in the believer in Christ, which is opposed to unrighteousness. As judges, we are to love mercy and justice; we are not to respect persons in judgement, for God is no respecter of persons. Our judgement ought to be sound and full of righteousness. It’s our job to deliver the oppressed and the poor from their oppressors. It’s your job to show mercy to the weak and oppressed. This is why we are owners of the earth, for we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. You are blessed to be a blessing. You are rich to enrich others. You are a voice of justice and freedom for the dumb, eyes for the blind and ears for the deaf. You are a ruler!!!

My Solid Front (Confession):

I declare that I am the mighty according to God’s Word. I am a God, a ruler! Therefore, I prevail over situations and circumstances. I exert kingdom influence in my domain and beyond. I defend the poor, I am help to the needy and solution to problems. I rule and reign in and over the earth realm.
