“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
When you see great things happening for people, don’t just wish that God would have mercy on you, too. The mercy of God is not scarce; all you have to do is tap into it. God’s grace and mercy are available to all in Christ Jesus: But there is a walk that brings you into the fulness of all His blessing for you. There is a consistent and faithful walk with God that brings you into the wealthy place that He has prepared for you. No matter what you have now, you can start from where you are and be consistent in your walk with God, and He will take you places.
Enoch is a good example of a man who walked with God when he was sixty five years old, and he walked with God diligently and faithfully for three hundred years, and God took him; he was caught up. Hebrews 11:5 tells us that before his translation, he had a testimony that he pleased God; and verse 6 tells us that everyone who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The point is this: God rewards those who diligently walk with Him, those who give heed to His Word daily, walking in the light of His countenance faithfully. God is not unjust to forget our work and labour of love, which we have shown to His people in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Consistency is the mark of serious business. Walking with God isn’t just something you do for one week; you must keep at it. You must continue. James 1:25 tells us that it is the man who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein that will be blessed in his deed. Walking with God is living according to His Word daily and faithfully.
My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am a faithful person; I am consistent with my walk with God. I am consistent in promoting the Gospel of Christ, and as I do, I declare that I abound with blessings. Amen.
