“For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.”
“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
John 14:18 “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
As a child of God, you must put off the mindset of an orphan. You are not helpless and must think as such. You are God’s actual biological child, and God is your actual Father. You are not fatherless; you are not an orphan. You have a heavenly Father who loves and cares for you affectionately and watchfully.
1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast our care upon the Lord for He cares for us. The Father God cares for us. Orphans are helpless; they are disadvantaged and hopeless. Now that you are a child of God, you must think differently because you have a Father; He is the Father of mercies, He is the Father of glory; He is the Father of spirits; He is the God of all grace. He is kind and merciful, and gracious and abundant in goodness and truth. Everything you desire is just an asking away.
You need not suffer like you don’t have a Father. You don’t have to suffer the plight and pain of orphans when you have a Father in Christ Jesus who is the Ruler of the universe. Life ought not to be difficult for you at all. You have the leverage of a Father in Christ. Don’t lose the soles of your shoes to road asphalt just because you are roaming all around town looking for a job or business.
You have a perfect Father in Christ. He calls you dearly beloved (Ephesians 5:1). Be anxious for nothing, but in all things by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto the Father; and His peace will keep and guard your mind in Christ Jesus. Oh, what needless shame we carry, what needless burdens we bear, just because we do not carry everything to the Father in prayer. Recognize that your life here on earth today is the defining factor in the scheme of things.
You are valuable and important to God. You are not a liability to your world; you are an asset. God loves you, and it’s time you began to respond to His love. The Lord Jesus says in John 16:27 “The Father Himself loves you…” All you need to do is recognize His love, and walk in the awareness of it. See yourself the way God sees you, through the eyes of the Word and act it out, and you will experience and enjoy the Father’s love in overwhelming dimensions.
My Solid Front (Confession): I have a Father; He is Almighty Father. He cares for me and watches over me affectionately; therefore I will not be stranded or be without help at any time in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
