January 9 – Growing in Grace I

2 Peter 3:18

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

1 Peter 2:2

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”

It is God’s will for you to grow in grace. God doesn’t want you to remain on the same level of grace for long; He desires that you keep growing in grace steadily and speedily. This is important because what you can do and be in God is determined by the level of grace on you. Paul speaking in 1 Corinthians 15:10 says, “But by the grace of God I am what I am…” Being is by grace. You cannot be anything beyond the grace of God on you. Beloved, you can be so much in God by growing in grace from one level of grace to another. Apostle Paul was able to do all that he did for the Lord by the grace of God on his life. Anyone who attempts to do or be anything above the grace on him will struggle in vain and have no results to show for it. We are all products of grace as given to us by God.

The good news is that you can grow in grace and be so much more for God than you are right now. You can be a thousand times more than this by grace. You can extend kingdom influence on a global scale by grace. You can touch more lives and destinies for the Lord by grace. You can walk in a deeper and stronger level of the supernatural by grace. You can enjoy more supernatural flows of finances by grace. You can do more by grace. Refuse to rest on your oars.

Refuse to let the conditions around you condition you to mediocrity. Refuse to plateau. More people will get blessed as you grow in grace. More territories will be conquered as you grow in grace. The Gospel will reach more people and the ends of the earth as you grow in grace. It is the Father’s perfect will for you to grow in grace.

My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I refuse to remain on the same level. I refuse to maintain the status quo, rather I challenge it in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Meditation: Acts 4:29-33; 2 Corinthians 3:16-18.
