July 12: Giving Sound to the Word

Romans 10:8-9

But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved

Mark 11:23-24

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

John 1:1-3 tells us that the Word was in the beginning, and all things were made by Him. How? We are told in Genesis 1:3 that God spoke the whole universe into existence. So, the Word, the logos of God, which is the sum total of God’s will, thoughts, plan, and understanding, was the substance of His creative power (Hebrews 4:12), but the spoken Word is the release of that creative power. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the logos of God is life-giving and powerful; but how does it create and bring things into existence? When it is verbalized, the creative power therein is released for performance. The Word is creative in sound, audible, or spoken form. For example, to create a new man from the old, the Word, the gospel of Christ, must be preached. When the gospel is proclaimed, or announced, and believed, the creative power in the Word goes forth to recreate the sinner. Amazing, isn’t it? But the Word must be preached for its potent and creative ability to be unleashed. Romans 10:8-10 tells us that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. Why? For with the heart, we believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. When we confess that Jesus is Lord of our life, salvation is the result. Hallelujah!

It is worthy of note to give utmost attention to the Word as to how spiritual realities are created in the physical world, how we hurl or catapult spiritual realities from the realm of faith into the natural realm. We understand that in the beginning nothing was created until God spoke the Word. Creation, manifestation, therefore, comes at the instance of the spoken Word (Genesis 1:1-3). We shall have what we say, and shall see what we say. That’s spiritual principle revealed to us in the Bible. Therefore, we must learn to give sound, verbal expression to the revelation of the Word in our hearts. It is important that we let the Word sound and resound through us. We are not going to let the Word be just in our hearts, but we will give sound to it in faith, for we believe unto righteousness and confess unto salvation. Giving sound to the Word that we have believed is the secret of manifestation of the Word in the natural. Hallelujah!

My Solid Front (Confession):

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am a talker of the Word. I sound and resound the Word with my mouth consistently. I walk in visible manifestation of all that the Word has said unto and of me. Amen.
