September 2: Living out the Glory of God

July 31: God’s Plan for You is the Best

Acts 15:18

“Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. ”

Jeremiah (NIV) 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has a plan for you, and it is the best. You did not design your destiny, God did; and He has designed something good and glorious for you, far exceedingly beyond the best dreams and plans you can ever make for yourself. You could not know yourself as God knows you. You couldn’t love yourself as God loves you. You couldn’t think well of yourself as God thinks of you. God knows you like the back of His hand, for you are in the hollow of His hand, He has inscribed you upon the palms of His hands and your walls are continually before Him (Isaiah 49:16). God who made us alone has the best plan for our lives.
Our opening Scripture tells us that God has a plan for us. You are not a creature of accident. You are not supposed to live like you are a misfit or a mistake; you are a creature of purpose, and your purpose is divine. Understand that God has a plan for you; therefore you are not supposed to live your life anyhow. You have a path that you must follow in life; you are born to fulfill a specific destiny. God has a plan for you.
God’s plan for you is good; it is a plan to prosper you and not to harm you. There is no harm in God’s plan for you; it is void of hurts and sorrows. God’s plan for you is insured or covered by God’s omnipotence. You cannot crash following God’s plan for you; God is back of His plan for you, everything that He is, His power and provision are back of His plan for you. You cannot suffer lack following God’s plan for you. Again, our opening Scripture tells us that God’s plan is to prosper us and not to harm us, and to give us hope and a future, which means our future is in God’s plan for us.

You don’t have a future outside of God’s plan for you. Hope and a future are in God’s plan for you. Seeking a future outside of God’s plan is mere effort in futility. Don’t embark on such a journey, only to discover that you had been
chasing a bubble that can’t stand the heat of life. Bubbles give way to heat; they burst at the slightest provocation. Lovely illusions don’t last. Many are the devises in the heart of man, but the counsel of the Lord alone will stand. Beloved, seek out God’s plan through prayer and diligent study of the Word. When you find it, follow it with everything within you.

My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I believe in and embrace God’s plan for me absolutely. Nothing can be better that God’s plan for me; therefore I settle for God’s best for me. I am taught of the Lord and great is my peace. Amen.

Further Meditation: Jeremiah 10:23; Jeremiah 3:4.
