As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Creative ability is in the Word. Creating is bringing into life or existence what was not in existence before. The Word is God’s creative ability released for action or performance. When God speaks, His Word goes forth with creative ability to make good what He commands. Whatever instruction God gives by His Word, there is creative power in the Word to carry it out. The instructions of the Word are the coding information causing it to behave the way it does. For example, the Word of faith will create faith, the Word of healing will create healing, the Word of life will create life, the Word of grace will create grace, and the Word of righteousness will create righteousness. Whatever God says to be, is and will be. The Word of God has creative power.
When we receive, learn and use the Word, we must not lose sight of the creative ability in it. God’s Word has been coded to behave or perform as it has been instructed. It must be a formed understanding in us that the Word will always perform and behave according to God’s instruction guiding it. For example, at the tomb of Lazarus, when the Lord Jesus Christ commanded and said, “Lazarus, come forth”, someone else did not come forth out of the tomb, it was Lazarus that came forth. It is important to note that God’s Word will always deliver on every promise it makes because it has inherent creative power to become good. When we act on the Word of healing in Isaiah 53:4-5, what should we expect to materialize? Of course, healing! When we act on the Word of financial prosperity, we expect prosperity to materialize (2 Corinthians 8:9). When we lay hands on the sick and command the sickness to leave their bodies according to the Word (Mark 16:17-18), we expect them to be made whole, for the Word is creative. When we act on the Word in faith, God’s Word will leap into being for us. God’s Word is creative. It will always deliver on every promise it makes. Hallelujah!!! Now, go ahead and act on the Word, and it will become what God calls it.
My Solid Front (Confession):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am a believer, and that the Word in my lips and in my life is creative. As I act on the Word in faith, I see the Word manifest in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
