June 19: The Spoken Word

Mark 11:23

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Genesis 1:3

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Genesis 1:26-27 reveals how God made man in His own image and after His likeness. God is a speaking God; He spoke creation into being. When He made man and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, man became another speaking spirit like God. Therefore, man being in the image of God has the capacity to speak like God and get results like God. In the beginning, according to Genesis 1:3, the creative power of God’s Word came into manifestation when God spoke, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Through His Word, He created everything according to His will. Jesus showed us in Mark 11:23 that just like God, we too can speak to situations and circumstances and have them respond and align to our will according to the Word. You can create new realities through the words of your mouth. If you are born again, you have the capacity within you to speak words of power and to have what you say. The Lord Jesus told us in the opening verse that you will have what you say. The spoken Word in the lips of faith is potent, creative and explosive. There is transforming power in the spoken Word. When we speak the Word of God in faith, wonderful things happen. Creative power is in the spoken Word.

How do you say a thing and have it come to pass? First, you fill your heart with the Word of God. The faith of God is stirred in you when you hear His Word. When you receive the Word of God, your faith is activated, then you can speak the Word as though your own words. You have loaded the barrel, now you may pull the trigger. Then you can create the realities that you so desire according to the Word of God. You fill your heart with God’s Word and make His Word the content of your conversation, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Then you can speak forth words from the abundance of God’s Word in your heart and get awesome results. Your lips have become the trigger of God’s Word. Beloved, load up your barrel, your spirit, with the Word of God and then pull the trigger with your mouth and you will see awesome things happen for you as you speak the Word of God.

My Solid Front (Confession):

I am a speaking spirit like my Father God; I can speak words of eternal life like Him and I can create new realities through the spoken Word. I declare in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that the words of my lips are powerful and bring about great effects. Amen!
