March 11: Resist Fear!

Isaiah 41:10

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

2Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind

Fear is not of God. He is not the author of fear. God ministers faith to us, not fear. The Word of God is known as the Word of faith; the Word that ministers faith unto us. Every time God shows up in the natural realm, He always says “Fear thou not.” Why? He is not the author of fear. In our opening verse, God tells us to not be afraid; and He gives us the reason why we don’t have to. It says the reason being that He is with us. We have the abiding presence of God with us. There is nothing to be afraid of or about because God is with us. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus tells us that He is with us always, even unto the end of the world. There is nothing that confronts you that God cannot put you over, just because He is with you. And then it says to not be dismayed for He is our God. It says He will strengthen and help us, and uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness. All that is attached to His presence with us. There is no need to be afraid of anything because God is with us. Beloved, God is with you; therefore be not afraid! Refuse to let fear come into your inner consciousness. Use your words to get fear away from your vicinity, in the Name of Jesus Christ. You have authority over fear in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Fear tolerated, is faith contaminated. Fear has torment (1 John 4:18). No matter the degree of fear, it has torment. You don’t want to be tormented; therefore you must resist fear; you must put fear to flight in the Name of Jesus Christ. Mark 16:17 tells us that believers in Christ have authority to cast out devils, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Fear is one of the devils of hell, therefore in the Name of Jesus you can cast it out. Refuse to put up with fear, for God has not given you the spirit of fear. Cast it out! Fear thou not!

My Solid Front (Confession):

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I have been redeemed from the power of fear and of satan; therefore I refuse to tolerate fear around me. I am governed by the Word of faith. Faith is my new life in Christ. Fear has no power over me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
