March 12: Effective Praying

John 15:7

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

1 John 5:14

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

God wants us to have answers to prayers. He doesn’t want us to pray without being sure of what to expect; He wants us to be sure of what we are going to get in prayer before doing our praying. Prayer is God’s system of intervention whereby He steps into our lives and situations according to His Word. Prayer is a divine privilege given unto us by God to engage heaven’s resources, God’s power and all of His goodness for our benefit or on the behalf of others. God answers prayers. He is the God of all flesh, and He always answers prayers. He doesn’t answer prayers once in a while. The erroneous belief that God answers prayers when He feels like is a myth; it is not true. Jeremiah 33:3 tells us to call upon God and He will answer us and show us great and mighty things. Notice it doesn’t say when we call, He may answer us. He always answers prayers! Hallelujah! Again, John 16:23 tells us that when we ask the Father for things in the Name of Jesus, He will give them unto us. It is true God answers prayers, and always does. Amen!

God answers prayers on the ground of faith in His Word. When faith is exercised in the Word in prayer, God always answers. Jesus Christ speaking to His disciples in our opening Scripture says that if we abide in Him, and His words abide in us, we shall ask what we will, and it shall be done unto us. The Word is the premise on which God answers prayers. Many take prayers out of the domain of the Word and expect answers. It doesn’t work that way. God only responds to His Word in prayer. When you pray in faith according to God’s Word, answers come pouring into your life from the Lord. Praying to get results begins with finding the Word of God that promises you what you require, meditating in it, mixing it with faith in your heart, and praying according to faith in your heart in the Word. You will always get results praying this way. Hallelujah!

My Solid Front (Confession):

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I get answers to prayers always because my God always answers prayers, and as I pray according to the Word in faith; and I get awesome results in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
