“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and shall not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
“The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, [and] Hezekiah, kings of Judah.”
The God given vision is an ordained plan or purpose of God for your life, backed up by His power unto fulfilment. It’s ordained of God, and God’s power sponsors its fulfilment. It is worthy of note that God’s power and providence will never sponsor whatsoever vision that is not ordained by Him; God’s hands will not perform what His mouth has not commanded. That’s why it is important to get a vision from God, not from the world. In Habakkuk 2:1, the Prophet of God stood upon his watch and upon the tower to see what the Lord will say unto Him. He patiently waited because he was careful to receive a vision from the Lord. When God commands a vision, His power and providence sustains it. Don’t be in a hurry to run with a vision that you are not sure is from the Lord. God is only committed to whatsoever is born of Him, and that’s what can overcome the world, and all the challenges of the world order. It is important to note that every God-given vision speaks. It speaks the language of reality and fulfilment; it does not tell lies. It will not lack its mate or counterpart in physical manifestation of whatsoever the Lord has commanded. Beloved, seek God’s vision for your life. Don’t get into the copycat game. Don’t run with somebody else’s plan or vision. Get yours from the Lord. God has a prophetic calendar for your life and destiny. Don’t assume anything as to God’s vision for your life, find it out carefully and patiently by prayer and supplication.
Again the Bible tells us in Habakkuk 2:3 that the vision is yet for an appointed time. So there is timing involved in the release, execution and fulfilment of every God-given vision. There is a time appointed by God for the vision to come to fruition. The Word further reveals that at the end, the vision shall speak. It may not look like it is going to amount to anything at the beginning, but at the end it shall speak, and shall not lie. This means that staying patiently and diligently with the vision that God has given is very important for it to speak at the end. Winners don’t quit; and quitters don’t win. You must learn to stay with what God has commanded. This is the true test of faith and patience, which are the basic requirements to possess or obtain any promise.
My Solid Front (Confession): Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are the Guide of my youth. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I follow and walk in line with Your vision for my life. I refuse to go against the tides of Your will for me. Thank You for guiding me by Your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
