God is mindful of you

November 12: Listening to the Spirit of God

Romans 8:14

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

Romans 8:16.

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:”

God created man in His own image and after His likeness that He might fellowship with him. So man has the capacity to receive from God, and to fellowship with Him. God created man to be His companion; to be His friend. The Word tells us in 1 John 1:3 that our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. You have the capacity to fellowship with God except if you were not God’s image and likeness. But you are in Christ Jesus; you are the image of the invisible God. Therefore you have the capacity to hear the Spirit’s voice and feel His heartbeats. When you got born again, God made your body His temple, and when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God comes to reside in you forever. That simply means that God has come to live in you, that you might fellowship with Him. The Spirit of God is in you to guide you into every blessing that God has prepared for you. The Word tells us that as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. So, you have the capacity to hear from God. Again, the Word further tells us in Proverbs 20:27 that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord; searching all the inward parts of the belly or heart or spirit. In other words, God is going to guide us by His Spirit through our spirit because our spirit is the candle of the Lord. Why is this so? God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth. Therefore God will guide you through your born again spirit. The Holy Spirit bears witness with your spirit as to the will of God per time. That’s why it is important to learn the art of being led by the Spirit of God from inside out.

Sometimes, people wonder how they can hear the voice of God. When you get quiet in deep meditation and prayer, your spirit, deep within you, begins to interact with the Spirit of God who dwells in you, and He relates God’s will to your spirit by revelation, bearing witness with your spirit about the will of the Father for you per time. In engaging your spirit, you must give yourself to meditation in the Word and prayer. Learn to quiet your soul as you minister to the Lord and stay in meditation in the Word, that the witness of the Spirit in you might be audible enough. Don’t forget that God will enlighten you through your spirit. So, don’t ignore spiritual things, like prayer, meditation in the Word, and ministering to the Lord which facilitates hearing from God.

My Solid Front (Confession): Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege to be led by Your Spirit. I yield myself to the Holy Spirit, and I take quality time to develop my spirit nature by feeding on the Word and praying continually, ministering unto You. Amen.

Further Meditation:Acts 13:1-3; 1 Corinthians 14:14.
