How to Walk in the Fear of the Lord

November 13: Simple Principles of Kingdom Prosperity

Genesis 8:22

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

Proverbs 6:10-11.

“Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.”

Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

The kingdom of God works like agriculture. It is like casting seed into the earth and reaping a harvest of it. The kingdom of God is the dominion of God. Wherever the dominion of God is, there is the kingdom. Ecclesiastes 8:4 says “Where the word of a king is, there is power; and who can say unto him, what doest thou?” and Luke 8: 11 tells us that the seed is the word of God. Therefore the word of God is the dominion or kingdom of God. Wherever the Word reigns, there is the kingdom of God. Therefore the principles of kingdom prosperity are of the Word.

To prosper the kingdom way, the Word of God must first reign and rule your thinking. How? You receive God’s Word as the final authority in your life. What does the Word have to say about our financial prosperity? Firstly, it says to seek first the kingdom of God, which means to put God first (Matthew 6:33): And we do this by giving our tithes and offerings to God (Malachi 3:10-12). Secondly, we give to the poor and widows (less priviledged ones): Psalms 41:1-3; thirdly, we give to our parents (Ephesians 6:1-2); fourthly, we give to our pastors/spiritual parents (Galatians 6:6-9; Philippians 4:15-19); lastly, we must save at least 20% of our income for investments (Proverbs 21:20). You must not use up or exhaust your income. It is not wise to do so.

Above all, you must have something you are doing. You must be on a job, which means you must have skills that are employable. Don’t waste away sitting down at home doing nothing. Work is the principle of releasing your potentials. Don’t say I believe God and not have something you are doing; that’s not faith! That’s fake! Be diligent on your job to give expression to the blessing of God that is on you (2 Thessalonians 3:8-10).

My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I give heed to the Word of the kingdom, and I prosper by the forces of God’s kingdom; the things that the gentiles seek after are added unto me. Amen.

Further Meditation: Matthew 6:25-33; 2 Thessalonians 3:8-10.
