“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
2 Corinthians 9:6 “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.”
Life does not answer to wishes; it does not answer to cries and empty ambitions. Life answers to seedtime and harvest. Whatever you don’t have a seed for, you cannot harvest. Whatever you did not sow, you cannot reap. To think that you can reap what you didn’t sow is to deceive yourself, and to attempt to mock God; but God cannot be mocked. Galatians 6:7 tells us “Be not deceived; God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man sows; that shall he also reap”.
The principle of seedtime and harvest controls input and output, work and remuneration, giving and receiving, etc. By the understanding of this principle, we take charge of our lives and dictate the pace of things. However, this principle of seedtime and harvest is at the mercy of the increase God gives. Paul has planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6), and except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it; and except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain (Psalms 127:1). But God can only bless what has been sown and watered. In the final analysis, the principle of seedtime and harvest is what is going to count.
Seed is everything of value that can be traded for a higher value: Money, time, relationship, resources, skills, talent, opportunities, etc. God always gives us seed that we might take charge of our lives and determine our outcomes in life. What we do with our seeds determine our harvest in life. Be not deceived; God cannot be mocked, for whatsoever you sow, that shall you also reap. Be smart to invest your seeds wisely to get your desired harvest. Put your seeds into the earth, the system of increase, for multiplication and increase. Don’t let things happen to you; make things happen. Take charge of your life by giving yourself to seedtime and harvest.
My Solid Front (Confession): In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am wise to make the most of my life by engaging the principle of seedtime and harvest. I trust God to bless all my seeds sown and increase the fruits of my righteousness. Amen.
