I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Opportunities come to everybody but only stay with those who know how to seize them. Life has many windows, and when they open, you must have positioned yourself to make the most of them. You may not have prior notice that they are going to open at certain times, but you must be ready to step into the pool when the angel stirs the waters. It may be too late trying to get ready. It is better to live ready. Living ready is one sure way to always seize every opportunity that comes your way. It is said that when opportunity meets preparation, destiny happens. The beauty of life is seen in a place where opportunity meets preparation. Do not despise the days of little beginning, only be thoughtful to make them days of preparation. Prepare for the future and the opportunities that are coming. Prepare, prepare, prepare.
Life is a set of opportunities strategically arranged on the path of destiny. Opportunities are pointers to your next levels; they determine the phases of your life. Therefore, maximizing life’s opportunities is making the most of life. You must learn to seize your God-given opportunities. Now, how do you seize opportunities? The key to making the most of opportunities in life is found in Ephesians 5:16 which says, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” The keyword here is ‘redeeming the time’. To redeem the time simply means to engage time for the purpose for which it is meant or designed. It means doing the right thing at the right time. In essence, it means to prepare yourself in the light of God’s plan and purpose for your life. Find out God’s purpose for your life. Prepare yourself for your God-given purpose. Your opportunities in life are custom-made for you based on God’s purpose for you. If you are not thinking in line with
your purpose, you will miss your opportunities. Why? You will not be able to recognize them. Your God-given opportunities always come to fulfill your God-given purpose for living. Secondly, you must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. How? Give yourself to prayer. Pray in other
tongues continually. Your spirit will be tuned to God’s Spirit, and you will be able to recognize your God-given opportunities
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare in the Name of Jesus that I am sensitive and yielded to the Spirit; therefore, I am able to recognize my divine moments. I
declare that my eyes are blessed, and my ears are blessed; I see and hear what the Lord is showing and telling me in Jesus Name. Amen
