The Best of God in His will

April 6: The Resurrection Power is at Work in You

Ephesians 1:19

“And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places].”

Hebrews 1:13

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Our opening Scripture tells us the kind of power that was wrought in Christ in raising Him from the dead. Two adjectives describe the resurrection power ─ “exceeding greatness” and “mighty” ─ which speak of the peak and finest of God’s power dispensed and engaged in raising Jesus from the dead. This power is described as mighty and exceedingly great. This was the power that was engaged in raising Jesus from the dead, and it was the same power that set Him at God’s right hand, far above all heavens and authorities and might, and every name that is named in this age and in that which is to come. Jesus therefore was raised to reign far above all authority and might. All authority has been put under His feet. Hallelujah! There is no power or authority that can compare with His; He is in the highest place where only His authority holds sway over every power and authority. Jesus’ authority is matchless and sovereign. Can you imagine how much this power is that raised Him from the lowest place in hell and death to the highest place there is and there could be in the heavenly places?
That awesome power that raised Jesus from the dead and set Him at God’s right hand is the same power that is at work in you. Evidently, you are above reproach and shame; you are above failure and oppression. You are seated with Him in the heavenly places far above all devils and evils. You have the matchless advantage in union with Christ. You share oneness with the head of all principality, and power, and might. That is your special privilege in Christ. When God put all things under Him, He meant to put all things under the Church in His Name. He put all things under you ─ money things, health things, marital things, divination things, things in the realm of diseases. Money is under your feet, the Word says you will lay it up as dust, not as treasure. Sickness is under your feet; the forces of darkness are under your feet. Jesus was put over all things for the benefit of the Church; for your benefit, for your advantage. Beloved, take your place and use your God-given authority. It is all yours! All things are under your feet. Stay above all powers of darkness because you are seated with Christ above them all. That resurrection power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in you now, and it puts you over every life’s challenge. Amen

My Solid Front (Confession):

Thank You Father, for the outworking of Your mighty power towards me in raising Jesus from the dead. Thank You Father for the same power is still alive in and towards me in triumphing over sin, sicknesses, diseases, oppression, lack and all the works of darkness. Thank You Father because I stay above every power of the wicked one, even as you have raised me together with Him. Amen.
