The word ‘spiritual’ in the opening verse, in Greek, is pneumatikos, which means the realm of the Spirit, or spiritual things. There is a realm or world of spiritual things; even things pertaining to the Spirit of God. This realm is available to everyone that is born again; it is a realm wherein all the gifts of the Spirit of God are domiciled. Again, in our opening Scripture, Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth that concerning spiritual gifts, he would not have them ignorant. There are some believers that are ignorant of spiritual things. Understand that this is not God’s will for us in Christ. God wants us to understand the pneumatikos in order that we may flow with Him, particularly in manifesting the supernatural. There is a great deal of God’s people that will be blessed and helped when we learn to partner with God in manifesting the Spirit of God in our life and ministry. It is worthy of note to understand that the pneumatikos is the realm of the Holy Spirit and of the recreated, born again human spirit. When a person gets born again, he comes into union with Christ; for he that is joined to the Lord, is one Spirit with Him (1 Corinthians 6:17). In union with Christ, we have come into the realm of the things of the Spirit of God – the pneumatikos.
Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ our Lord carried Jesus in her womb for just nine months and she was declared highly favored of God (Luke 1:28-30). Now, you are in Christ and ChristChrist is in you. So, how much favour is upon you? Exceeding, abundant high favour of God! When you got born again, you didn’t get born again into a physical building but into the Body of Christ; you were baptized into Christ. Therefore, the very moment you can see that you are in Christ, your perspective will change, and you will come to know, understand, and appreciate who you are. In Christ, you have escaped all the negative influences in the world if your soul can come to terms with it, because it is what you are aware of by revelation that you can make the most of. Pneumatikos is a place of advantage. It is Christ’s realm. In the realm of the pneumatikos, the Bible tells us that we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3, 7). All our blessings, our dominion, and our redemption are in Christ and we are complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10). Declare boldly: “I am in Christ. In Christ, I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.”
My Solid Front (Confession):
I declare that I am in Christ and that I have entered into the realm of grace, even the realm of spiritual things in God. I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Hallelujah!
Ephesians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17.
