We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit
When God raised Jesus Christ from the dead, He actually meant to raise us from the dead. There is no such thing as Jesus’ resurrection from the dead apart from our resurrection. Christ was our Substitute at Calvary and so it was us that He represented, it was our place that He took; hence we are Him, and He is us; we are one by faith. We were buried together with Him, so we were raised together with Him. It means that whatever goes for Jesus Christ in His substitution for man, goes for us because we are now one. 1 Corinthians 6:17 says “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” As a believer, a child of God, never see yourself apart from Christ in His substitutionary work for you. Don’t try to live life all by yourself without operating out of your oneness with Christ. This is the principle of victory in life! Operate from an active and vibrant consciousness of your oneness with Christ! Live in the consciousness that Jesus Christ is one with you and you are one with Him; His wisdom is your wisdom, His success is your success, His victory is your victory, His Grace is your grace. Then you can make bold to say, the Lord is my light and my salvation; He is the strength of my life. So, when there is a situation, you laugh, for your sufficiency is of God, who raised Christ from the dead. Hallelujah!
The key to overcoming situations of life is your bold declaration of your oneness with Christ. Don’t let any situation shut you up. If you allow the situation to shut you up, you can’t exercise faith over it. The first thing is, start declaring your realities in Christ, confess it boldly with confidence in God, knowing that you and Christ are inseparably one. As you speak from your oneness with Christ, your sufficiency is revealed as from and of God. Let your confession of faith align your consciousness with your oneness with Christ. You identify with what He’s done for you by making bold declarations. Refuse to be bothered about any situation. Jesus is Lord over it and as a result, you are lord over it also. Confess out loud your oneness over that situation. Make sure that you are always saying something, in the bathroom, in the kitchen, in the marketplace, in line with your oneness with Christ, and your desires will leap into being!
SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am one with Christ; His victory is mine, His authority overt Satan and all his cohorts is mine. I function from my oneness with Christ always in Jesus’ Name!
