The opening verse tells us that God confirms the word of His servant and performs the counsel of His messenger. Note what God confirms: the word of His servant. The account of creation in Genesis 1 reveals very clearly that the declaration of faith with the mouth is one of the governing principles of creation and manifestation. The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the deep, yet nothing was made manifest regarding creation until God began to declare things by faith. Everything God declared, He saw in physical manifestation. We still see those things today. So, it reveals that this principle of faith declaration is an ancient principle of creation and manifestation. You have to say it, to have it. The Lord Jesus Christ taught His disciples this principle of faith in Mark 11:23-24; He said that anyone who believes and declares his faith out loud, will see his faith leap into manifestation. You don’t keep quiet regarding the things you want to see manifest in your life. The moment your faith is built up through meditation in the Word about what you are in faith for, you must begin to say it with your mouth, pray it, and sing it in prayer and worship unto God.
As children of faith, we say things consistent with what God has done for us in Christ; we say things in faith, resting on Christ the Rock, who never changes; we lean on the living Word of God with quiet rest and unperturbed assurance. When we speak in this manner, the Word of God goes into operation and manifestation is the result. A man of faith talks from conviction, from settled realities of the Word. You are not complaining about the situation, you are talking to it. You are not just speaking mere words, but you know what you are saying, and you understand the power back of your utterance. In declaring things by faith, what we declare is the finished works of Christ, what the Spirit has revealed to us of the things that Christ has done and provided for us. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” You declare, “I am rich” and you say it long enough till that image of prosperity is formed rock-solid in your spirit, which in turn leaps into manifestation. Say it out loud!!! Remember, you will have what you say.
SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare by faith that my words are powerful, for they are spoken from the verities of the Word of God in my spirit and consciousness of my oneness with Christ. I declare that I have what I say in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
