17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Some people are in Christ but are not experiencing the truth of God’s Word. They go through all kinds of terrible experiences inconsistent with the Word. Why? Because they have not deliberately yielded themselves to the reality that is available in Christ Jesus; rather, they yield to their circumstances instead of yielding to the Word. They are ruled by their senses, not by the Word of God. Beloved, understand that there is the knowledge of the Word and there is knowledge based on the senses, which is also known as sense knowledge. There is a great multitude of believers that are living life by sense knowledge instead of living by faith in the Word. Of a truth, you cannot experience the Word, if you do not live by the Word. When you got born again, you took a position in union with Christ that was diametrically opposed to your situation. The Word tells us about our position with Christ, which is our reality; but life tells us about our situation. Your position is not your situation, and your situation is not your position, either. But you can change your situation by enforcing your position on your situation by faith. When you learn the Word, you must be ready to accept the realities of the Word as your only realities, or else you will have what is known as a dual experience, which is the Word saying something about you, but your life is saying something else.
In order to change your situation, you must understand your position in Christ, who you are in Him, and what He has already done for you. You must know your position in Christ, and from your position in Christ, you can look down to that situation and say, “you are not my reality, the Word of God is my reality.” So, you can boldly declare that you have what the Word says you have, you are what the Word says you are, and you can do what the Word says you can do. Refuse to let your situation or circumstance call the shots. Declare boldly and fearlessly who you are, what you have and all the blessings you have been blessed with in Christ! When your realities in Christ become your only confession, you will not suffer the plague of dual experience anymore. In fact, dual confession is the cause of dual experience. Nothing shifts or changes in your situation until you maintain a confession that is absolutely consistent with the Word. Meditate in the Word, believe the Word, confess the Word and in prayer, give thanks to God for what the Word says you are and have in Christ. Maintain your confession as a way of life, and you will discover that your life will be a perfect reflection of the Word, your position and reality in Christ!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I maintain my confession of victory over Satan, over sin, over poverty, over lack, over oppression, as I take my reference from my redemption and position in Christ! Amen!
