Your word is your faith speaking. Your faith rises or falls to your confession. Your faith cannot be stronger than your confession. We are either masters or slaves of our words. Understand that we are in a Word-created world. Therefore, we are in a Word ruled world, a Word sensitive world. John 1:1-3 tells us that the whole universe was made by the Word of God. Everything was made by the Word, and everything responds to the Word. When we speak words of faith based on the Word of God, the power of God goes into operation to restructure nature consistent with our words. The things in the seen realm are subject to change (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). How? When words of faith are spoken, they go forth to rearrange and restructure things in line with their content. Words rule everything; everything is ruled by words of faith. Words of faith spoken from the substance of God’s Word are as creative as the Word of God. When we fill our words with the Word and speak them in faith, they become as potent as God’s Word. When you say what God says in faith, you will have God’s Word come to pass in your situation. Hallelujah!
You will have what you say, when you say it in faith. When you go through an ugly situation, and it seems like it is overwhelming. Even if you don’t know how you will get out of it, and you don’t know what to do, but you know what you want, then start by saying “I’m out of this thing; this is not my portion.” When you begin to say that, you will discover that your faith will catch up with your confession. Faith will always rise to the level of what you’re saying. Remember, faith rises and falls to the level of your confession. Therefore, men of faith are very intentional about their words; they will not speak contrary to God’s word no matter how intense the challenge they are going through. They’ll rather keep quiet than speak contrary to God’s Word because if you don’t say it, you won’t and can’t have it. Jesus said you will have what you say. Therefore, you must learn the vocabulary of silence when you are not ready to say the right thing. You don’t have to speak out of your feeling. When God speaks, He speaks on purpose. He didn’t say we should speak our feelings; He said we should speak our faith.
My Solid Front (Confession):
I am a speaking spirit like God; I declare that I am intentional with the words of my mouth. I do not speak based on how I feel; I speak based on my faith in what God says to me.
