Our opening Scripture reveals the attribute of God to us, that God is light. As a child of God, it is the light of God that you ought to see by. Psalms 36:9 says, “For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” God is the one that made us and not we ourselves, we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. John 1:1, 3 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” God made man in His image and after His likeness and meant for man to walk in the light of His Word. God is light and in Him, there is no darkness at all; He is not light and darkness, He is absolute light. We are meant to clearly see our way through life by the light of God’s Word.
The Apostle Paul, praying for the Church at Ephesus asked the Father, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know…” This is a grant from the Father Himself and it is a prayer you ought to pray daily, asking the Father for light. When you see by this light of life, you see correctly; for the light of the Word is the true light that lights everyone that’s born of God in Christ. Like Jesus, you will see what the Father is doing and partner with Him to execute it here on earth. You see as God sees, because you are seeing by God’s light – the Word. In light, you cannot stumble. In light, you make progress; you pace up and pace off! Light is advancement; light is wisdom and understanding, light is glory. Ask the Father today to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, to flood your heart with light such that you can pick the frequency of heaven and replicate that which is in the Father’s heart for the now, on earth as it is in heaven. Receive light in Jesus’ Name!
MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am walking in the light of the Word and I make progress by the light of life, for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation is working in me.
