Today’s opening Scripture speaks of the power of imagination. Imagination is the image making power of the mind. It is the act of creating or reproducing ideally an object not previously perceived; it is the ability to create such images. Imagination is one of the most advanced human faculties. Creativity and resourcefulness are products of sound imagination. Imagination constitutes the ability to conceive an idea or a notion. Imagination is the lifeline of creativity, invention, and innovation. The imagination of man is very powerful, and it is instrumental to his success or accomplishments on earth. God Himself attested to the power of man’s imagination at the Tower of Babel. From our opening verse, the Word declares “…nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined doing.” God says nothing can be restrained from man which they have imagined accomplishing. God had to scatter their language because He knew that there was nothing that could be restrained from them which they had imagined doing. Can it be any clearer than that how powerful our imagination is? If nothing can be restrained from them which they have imagined doing, then we can gather that when imagination is set on anything, success is guaranteed. What if what they had imagined to do was the will of God, what would have happened? Understand that when you set your imagination on God’s will for you, nothing will be restrained from you that you have imagined doing.
You must begin to form the right picture. Never see yourself failing, begging, or being at the mercy of a situation or anyone. Begin to see yourself as a success that you are. See who you are according to God’s Word. Form pictures of yourself according to the Word of God. You are a king; you are the image of God, you are the beloved of the Lord, and you have been accepted in the beloved in Christ Jesus. You are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar person. That’s who you are. Begin to form the right image of yourself according to the Word of God. Your imagination is important because it determines what comes to you, who comes to you, where you will travel to, and what you will be able to accomplish in life. See possibilities; see realities consistent with your new status in Christ and walk in the light of the Word. Hallelujah!
MY SOLID FRONT (Confession):
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that my imaginative power is enabled by the Spirit of God; I see the way God wants me to see and I see the things God wants me to see. Therefore, I bring forth in my life things after the order of God. Amen.
